After working all summer at DePauw doing REU/NSF Computer Science research, I got a chance to go back home to Wisconsin to visit my parents new house on Lake Napowan near Waupaca. I had a little free time when I was home to hike, enjoy the lake, do some canoeing, and a little birdwatching. Overall, we counted around 48 species of birds that we viewed and identified from our front deck, including Bald Eagles, Pileated Woodpeckers, and lots of others. Here are a few photos that I took while on my vacation at home.

I finally got around to editing my spring break pics from Jackson, Wyoming. We had an awesome time snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and just chillin it in the hot tub. The trip just made me want to move out west even more!

Hi everyone, this is my very first post! Now that I have Word Press up and running on my blog, I’m really excited to start putting it all together. I had some issues with the install due to problems with the server, but now that I have it all fixed I can’t wait to get to work. Lots of pics and stories of my adventures are soon to come, so check back often.
